Ship7 Review: Fees, Storage, Warehouses, Customs & Limitations

Author Avatar Digital Bhatti
• September 26, 2026 • Automation & Tools

Ship7 is an international package-forwarding service that gives users forwarding addresses in the USA, UK and Turkey, receives purchases at its warehouses, and then forwards those packages internationally.

The service can also provide consolidation, repacking, package photos, shopping assistance, returns handling and multiple carrier options. The important question is not whether Ship7 advertises low-cost shipping, but what your total landed cost becomes after package dimensions, forwarding charges, storage, optional services, customs, duties, taxes, brokerage, payment/FX costs and possible returns are included.

Research methodology

This refresh uses Ship7's current website, help center, pricing and legal terms. Where Ship7 pages conflict, the more specific operational/help-center source is used as the safer planning assumption and the discrepancy is disclosed rather than silently reconciled. Digital Bhatti is not claiming an original shipment benchmark or guaranteed savings.

Quick Verdict

Useful for occasional cross-border shopping, but calculate the full shipment

Ship7's free account, forwarding addresses, consolidation and carrier options can be useful, but value depends on the exact package dimensions, destination, storage clock, repacking/service charges, customs treatment and return risk. Calculate the full landed cost before ordering to the warehouse.

1. Current Ship7 Warehouse Addresses

Ship7 currently documents forwarding addresses in three countries:

Country Location Notes
USA Bear, Delaware Ship7 markets this as a Delaware tax-free shopping address.
UK West Drayton, Middlesex UK forwarding address.
Turkey Ataşehir, Istanbul Turkey forwarding address.

Ship7's help center says these are real street addresses rather than P.O. boxes. Warehouse addresses can change, so copy the address from your own Ship7 account when placing an order rather than relying on an old article or screenshot.

2. Membership, Receiving and Handling Fees

Ship7 currently advertises free membership, free forwarding addresses, free package receiving and free handling. You generally pay when you ship or use chargeable optional services.

3. Storage Policy: Use 15 Days as the Conservative Planning Assumption

Ship7's public pages are currently inconsistent:

  • the main pricing/benefits pages state 15 days of free storage;
  • the help center states 15 days free, then $1.99/day after the free period until the package reaches the standard 30-day storage limit;
  • at least one current marketing landing page advertises 30 days free.
Safer planning rule Budget around the current 15-day help-center/pricing policy unless your own Ship7 account explicitly shows a different allowance or promotion. Do not delay consolidation or forwarding based only on a marketing landing page.

4. Consolidation and Repacking Are Different — and Repacking Pricing Conflicts

Ship7's help center says consolidation is free and defines it as sending multiple original packages together under one tracking/order arrangement. The packages remain in their original boxes; consolidation does not automatically merge them into one new carton.

Repacking is a separate service in which packaging may be removed, combined, split or replaced to reduce unnecessary volume or improve shipment handling.

Current repacking-price conflict Ship7's own pricing page currently labels repacking as FREE in its service-fee section, but the comparison table on the same page shows $5 + $3 per box. Treat repacking as a service whose charge must be verified in the live account/shipment quote rather than assuming it is always free.

5. Dimensional Weight and Total Landed Cost Can Change the Economics

International carriers can bill based on volumetric/dimensional weight when a parcel is large relative to physical weight. Compare the final packed dimensions, carrier rate and any repacking/service charge before approving shipment.

A useful planning formula is:

Total landed cost =
product price
+ domestic shipping to Ship7
+ international forwarding
+ storage fees
+ repacking / optional-service fees
+ extra insurance
+ customs duty / VAT / GST
+ brokerage or clearance fees
+ card / PayPal / FX cost
+ possible return cost

Hypothetical example — not a Ship7 quote

Cost Component Example
Product$100
Domestic delivery to warehouse$8
International forwarding$35
Optional service / storage$7
Estimated import charges / brokerage$20
Illustrative landed cost$170

This example is intentionally hypothetical. The correct numbers depend on the retailer, warehouse, package weight/dimensions, carrier, destination, customs classification, exchange rate and optional services.

6. Carrier Options

Ship7 advertises 10+ carrier/service options and names major couriers such as DHL, FedEx, UPS and Aramex on different destination pages. Availability varies by shipment.

7. Customs, Duties and Taxes Are Not Always Included

Ship7's help center says shipping rates do not always include customs, tariffs or duties. For some destinations it may calculate or estimate charges in advance, but those figures can still differ from the amount ultimately assessed.

The recipient/importer is responsible for accurate description and value information. Do not ask a retailer or forwarding service to misdeclare merchandise as a gift or understate value to avoid duty.

8. Delaware Address and U.S. Sales Tax

Ship7 markets its Delaware address as a U.S. sales-tax-free shopping address. Keep that claim narrow: Delaware has no state sales tax, but retailer treatment and other transaction-specific rules can still matter. More importantly, destination-country VAT, GST, customs duty, brokerage and import fees are separate from U.S. sales tax.

9. Free Insurance and Claims

Ship7 currently advertises automatic/free shipment insurance up to $100, with optional additional insurance advertised for higher values. Before forwarding expensive goods, verify current exclusions, carrier limitations, proof-of-value requirements, claim deadlines and whether the item category is insurable.

10. Returns to Seller

Ship7's current help center says it charges a $5 return-merchandise handling fee. The merchant's return shipping label, domestic carrier charge or other shipment costs can still apply separately.

If an international shipment is returned to the Ship7 warehouse by a carrier, reshipping can create additional carrier charges. A return can therefore erase the apparent savings from the original purchase, especially for bulky or low-margin items.

11. Shopping Assistance: Current Fee Pages Conflict

If a retailer will not accept your payment method or billing address, Ship7 offers a Shop For Me / shopping-assistance service.

  • Ship7's current help-center article states a minimum fee of $10 or 10% of the total invoice.
  • The main pricing comparison still shows $7 minimum or 10%.

Because Ship7's own pages disagree, verify the fee shown in the live account or support response before using the service.

12. Prohibited and Restricted Items

Ship7's current prohibited-items guidance excludes or restricts categories including hazardous/flammable materials, weapons and ammunition, standalone batteries, perishables, alcohol, tobacco/vapes, narcotics, currency, certain high-value collectibles and other regulated goods. Destination-country and carrier restrictions can be stricter, so check the current list before ordering to the warehouse.

13. Package Photos and Inspection

Ship7 currently advertises free package pictures. Treat photos as a basic intake/condition check rather than a guarantee that contents are complete, authentic or defect-free.

14. How Ship7 Package Forwarding Works

  1. Create a free Ship7 account.
  2. Receive your available USA, UK and Turkey forwarding addresses.
  3. Shop from a retailer and use the appropriate Ship7 address.
  4. Wait for the package to appear in your Ship7 account.
  5. Choose consolidation/repacking where useful.
  6. Complete accurate customs information.
  7. Compare carriers and total cost.
  8. Pay and ship to the final destination.

This is a package-forwarding workflow. It is not the same as a retailer shipping directly to you, a dropshipping supplier fulfilling customer orders, or a dedicated 3PL running high-volume inventory and fulfillment operations.

15. Who Ship7 Fits Best

  • shoppers buying from retailers that do not ship internationally;
  • users combining several purchases before forwarding;
  • occasional purchases from the USA, UK or Turkey;
  • small businesses ordering samples or low-volume sourcing purchases.

High-volume sellers, recurring e-commerce fulfillment operations and businesses needing inventory SLAs should compare dedicated 3PL/fulfillment providers rather than assuming a consumer package-forwarding service is the same tool.

16. Main Limitations

  • Bulky international shipping can remain expensive.
  • Customs/duties may not be included in the quote.
  • Ship7's public pages currently conflict on free-storage duration, repacking pricing and shopping-assistance minimum fees.
  • Returns can eliminate original savings.
  • Some merchants restrict forwarding addresses.
  • Restricted-item rules can affect otherwise normal retail products.
  • Marketing claims such as “save up to 80%” are not guaranteed savings.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Ship7 free to join?

Yes. Ship7 currently advertises free membership and free USA, UK and Turkey forwarding addresses.

How much free storage does Ship7 provide?

The safer current planning assumption is 15 days because Ship7's main pricing/help documentation says 15 days free, then $1.99/day until the standard 30-day limit. Some marketing landing pages still advertise 30 days, so confirm the allowance shown in your own account.

Is Ship7 consolidation free?

Ship7's help center currently says consolidation is free. It means shipping multiple original packages together under one tracking/order arrangement; it is not the same as physically repacking them into one new box.

Does Ship7 include customs and duties in shipping rates?

Not always. Ship7 says some destination charges may be estimated or pre-calculated, but additional import fees can still be assessed.

Does Ship7 provide insurance?

Ship7 currently advertises free insurance up to $100. Check current terms for higher-value goods and exclusions.

Does Ship7 offer returns?

Yes. Ship7's current help center lists a $5 return-merchandise handling fee. Merchant/carrier shipping costs can still apply separately.

Is Ship7 repacking always free?

Do not assume so. Ship7's current pricing page is internally inconsistent: one section labels repacking free, while the comparison table lists $5 + $3 per box. Verify the live account/service quote.

How much does Ship7 Shop For Me cost?

Ship7's current help-center article states a $10 minimum or 10% of the invoice, while its pricing comparison still shows a $7 minimum or 10%. Confirm the live fee before using the service.
